Fred

Hi Tracey! Things are going really well!!! He is SO awesome and just a really super chill dog! I really am SO happy that I made the choice to adopt him! I got him groomed yesterday and he looks even better! He only had one accident on the first night I had him, and I just think I wasn't really walking him and taking him out like he needed to be. Since that accident, he has been good, and we have had no problems. He is eating REALLY well, I was surprised, but he is doing well with that. I am crating him at night for now...but I think I might change that, I just feel bad he has to be in the crate all night and all day...and this is the first day for that, so we'll see. Anyway, other than that things are really good. He doesn't really like to go in the kennel, but if I put him in there, he doesn't seem to get really upset or anything. I am just SO happy to have him, and he is VERY relaxed. :)

Flipper

Things are going great! We have finally got him coming in and out of the house with no problem and he is doing great with Auto and the kids! We have friends over about once a week and he has even been coming out of the bedroom to hang out. We also got him out of our bed and him and Auto cuddle on the couch or their bed in our room. He is very very sweet and very much loved by the whole family. We are so happy to have him! In the pictures, the first one is a family tickle match that he wanted to be involved in when we had friends over so he is really doing a lot better around strangers. The second picture is 6am on a Sunday and we all just found our way to the couch and hung out all piled on top of each other for a good part of the morning. He fits right in! Hope all is well with you and another lucky dog has found a foster home! Julie

Foxy

Foxy is doing great. She has adapted pretty seemlessly -- It's hard to believe we haven't had her for longer! She is a sweetheart, and seems to like it with us. We'll send a picture when we get one downloaded! Thanks! Casey

Ferdinand
Ferdinand

Mostly ok - He has a lot more energy than I do -- I working with him to go outside by himself -- he thinks I need to be out there with him all the time -- and I think he has separation anxiety - loves to shred paper. I cannot think of putting him in a crate - just does not seem humane - I am going to be off work the last week of the month - so maybe we can work through some of that then -- he needs to be right where I am -- which is good ... and not so good like now he wants to be in my lap.. He loves the yard - when I am out there with him -- runs in circles and loves to play keep away -- I bought him some chewy things -- like a tug of war rope and one thing that is similar except it has a squeaky soft middle -- always startles him when he bites it just right and it squeaks -- He does not like cats -- He is begging me to go do something with him -- he cannot sit in my computer chair -- Kathy

Friedrich
Friedrich

Hi Virginia, Friedrich has been renamed Bentley. He's doing great! He's been spoiled by both myself and my brother who spent most of Saturday with him as I had to go to work and didn't want him to be locked up all day. He is doing really well with potty training. Actually hasn't been a big issue. We had a small accident on Saturday night but otherwise he's getting into the swing of going to the door when he needs to go out. He's definitely a cuddler and is protective as I found out when my neighbors came home Sunday morning at about 1:30am and Bentley shot out of his kennel barking lol. Surprised me but he calmed down quickly enough and curled up in a hole between my pillows and me and slept the rest of the night. He has a lot of energy which is refreshing and is starting to get into a routine with me. I'm very happy with my choice to bring him into my home and think it's the best Christmas present I could have got for myself. Thank you for all your help in the process and I'll send some future updates and a couple of pictures in soon. Have a great week! Thank you, Erin
