Flipper was abandoned at a high kill shelter about 2 months ago.  We believe he is right around a year old.  When he was abandoned he had a birth defect which caused his front leg to be deformed.  He was barely able to walk as his balance was thrown off while trying to use his deformed leg.  When we saved him from the shelter, his leg was amputated and it was immediately apparent that was the best choice for him.  He now walks and runs and plays like any normal dog.  Flipper can be a bit shy with new people, but once he bonds with his family, he is like a little shadow.  He is absolutely the most adorable and sweet little boy that anyone could hope to meet.  Due to the neglectful situation from which he came, we are still working on house training, but he does very well with being on a schedule and we are sure he will get the hang of it very soon.  His favorite thing to do is play with his foster siblings and cuddle with his humans.  I really can't say enough how sweet and cuddly this boy is.  If you want a dog that will adore you and always put a smile on your face, this is your guy!
