Fred is an adorable, purebred miniature dachshund.  This boy is good with children and dogs, and though he likes kitties, they do not appreciate his curiousity about them, so he would probably do best in a home without feline companions!  He is crate trained and mostly housetrained, but is working on being 100% housetrained while in foster care!  He would love to have a forever family very soon!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
