Reece

Hi Virginia! Well, today was 2 weeks, and they’ve gone by really fast! I’m still just totally enamored with Reece and she’s been a great little friend! I wanted to thank you and your organization again for saving her and brightening up my life with her! One of the things you hear about some times is that all the good things you read about a dog up for adoption are exaggerated or they may be totally different when they are put in a different environment… I’m happy to report that all of Reece’s qualities that were advertised in her profile were 100% accurate. She comes to Petco with me when I’m buying toys, treats, or food, and she has several “buddies” there now who spoil her rotten with treats and she loves all the attention. Little kids ask to pet her and she showers them with affection. She is GREAT with dogs just like you told me. She met a HUGE bloodhound at Petco yesterday and had a polite encounter with him. I went to help a friend with some work on his house today, and she played in the yard with his dog for several hours while we worked. Everyone compliments her on what a pretty girl she is and how well behaved and friendly she acts. Reece gets plenty of attention and exercise, and we had a nice little field trip to Antioch Park last weekend and I plan to take her back there tomorrow. When I was a kid, I had a dog who couldn’t be around strangers or other dogs, he just went crazy and got aggressive. Reece is the first dog I’ve ever had who I can enjoy the outside world and other people with – it is such a different and wonderful experience! Thanks again!
