Honeydew

Virginia, It's been over a week and everything's going great. Gabby (aka Honeydew) has made friends with my little dog Phoebe. They love to play tug-a-war with some of the toys and surprisingly the little dog wins most of the time. The kids are really having fun with her and spend a lot of time on the floor giving her big hugs. I won't be surprised if she becomes a little spoiled :-) I've added a couple of pictures here so you can see how she's doing. Thanks Mike

Hi Sherrie, She and her little sister, Ivy, are still not BFFs, but they have their moments of sisterly love when they think no one is watching! We took the girls on their first big adventure to Door County, WI last month. We had five days of hiking which Maggie loved, loved, loved! She wasn't so sure about the water, though. We have a hilarious video of her attacking the waves as they hit the shore (too large to email, sorry). We think she was trying to protect us! Overall, she seems to finally be finding her place in the family. She knows she has a good home and even though she has a soft, comfy bed in almost every room, her favorite place to lay/sleep is on the floor under our bed. Go figure. All is well.
