Missy Lynn

Hi, Jenn, It is actually as if Missy Lynn has been here for more than a year! Cindy had two piano students here at 4:30, and Missy Lynn was a perfect lady. She ran to the kids and said “Hi!” and got her ears scratched, then she curled up on the couch and just watched what was going on. After the kids left, I asked her if she wanted to go out … she ran to the back door. We went out to dinner, and Missy Lynn went into the kennel. She did not want to go, but she did. I gave her a rawhide stick, then when we returned and let her out, I fed her. As you said, we gave her a tbs of the food, with the pill, and she gulped it down, then licked the bowl. I gave her a cookie for desert. That was three hours ago, and she has had no difficulties. Right now, she is curled up on the couch between us and snoozing. It’s been a long day. We just love her. Thank for taking care of her and helping us adopt her. Royce & Cindy

Maverick
Maverick

Maverick has certainly adjusted to this being his forever home. He sleeps on our beds now, which he would not get up on our beds when we first brought him home. He also found the best bed in the house. My 9 year old son, Brendan, has the most comfortable bed and Maverick sleeps with Brendan every night. He is an amazing dog. He is sweet with the kids, loves to play fetch and tug of war with his toys but also loves to cuddle on the bed for us to pet him.

Mabel

Hi there. We have had Mabel for 24 hours and we love her! She has the best disposition and seems to be comfortable already. We can tell that she is very energetic and we will make sure she gets to walk or run most days. We feel so lucky to have found her. Attached are a couple of pics for you. Sweet, sweet dog. Feel free to check in with us at any time. Take care. Sincerely, Debbie & Scott

Mercedes

Sherrie, Bella is doing great when she is left out of her crate! She was out a couple hours on Saturday, and then six hours yesterday. She didn't have any accidents, and didn't get into anything. She did start chewing on my hope chest while I was home yesterday, but that was the only thing I noticed. I am very impressed. I have been leaving her out at night also, and she does get in her crate at some point during the night and stays there until I get up in the morning. I did have to bring her in my room last night and shut the door though, because she started barking at people who were coming home late. I had never heard her bark before last night. Anyways, things are good! She gets so excited when I come home, its funny! Things went well when she met Jacob, she let him pet her and even scratch her stomach. She's still turning her head, but I told him she did that with me at first also. He'll be coming over again tonight so I'm sure she'll start warming up. OH, and Bella doesn't seem to be afraid of cats too much because yesterday morning she saw one and took off after it before I knew what was going on. Poor cat! I'm going to have to do some research on introducing her to cats because I plan to take her to my mom's house on Saturday. We may have to put Inky in my mom's room to start out. Hope you had a good weekend! Jennifer

Steve and Virginia, I wanted to thank both of you again for everything you have to with us and Rocky. Everything seems to be fine. The video was very helpful, and we will continue to watch Mr Millan. Anyway, I know you guys do this for the dogs, and it truly shows in the way you do things. I will be sending you guys udpate emails with pics soon. Thanks again, Marco and Marilee DeAngelis
