Jasmine
She is doing great! I named her Lily Rose! She is so tall and loves to get into everything, she is a love bug though!
Jo Jo
Virginia,
I could not be happier. JoJo is perfect!!! The cats even like him. He is the happiest little guy; he bounces around the house, busy hiding chew sticks behind the sofa cushions, dragging his blanket around, and bringing toys to Oliver (my other dog) in return for him teaching him the ropes. He is affectionate, playful, and just too cute. He’s doing much better than I expected on housebreaking. Not perfect yet, but getting there quickly. He engages my older cat Jose in play, and he seems to somehow instinctively know that Sophie (my cat with breast cancer) just wouldn’t be interested in his games and the 2 have been caught napping together. I can’t imagine finding a better dog. I think I won the lottery with JoJo.
Thank you so very much!
Pat
Jones
Hi April,
Thanks for checking in. Jones aka 'Jake' is doing pretty well. He is a bit skiddish, but has been eating well & has been on daily (long) walks since we last saw you. He's definetely trying to learn the ropes around here, and you're right, when he see's any door open, he really tries to go..so far he has been unsuccessful. He's pretty playful with our 4 year old & the verdict is still out on his behavior with her---we are watching that most carefully. He is super-affectionate & loves to be petted which we happily do. As far as our Boston Terrier goes, the 2 of them have seriously ignored each other---it's as if they've been hanging out with one another for years.
Take care & enjoy the summer!

Jake
It's going great! Jake is an awesome dog and he fits in amazingly well. We've been going on alot of walks and a couple of light runs. He's outta shape lol! We ran well kinda jogged for a little bit and he was tired. Hes eating good and he really likes his bed we got him he lays on it all the time. He follows me everywhere I go and always wants to be petted. He does really good on his leash and never pulls. He just walks right by my side and doesn't bark at anything. He just kinda looks at whatever it is from cars, kids, runners, walkers, bikes, bunnies, and even a bird that rushed out of a bush he was sniffing. He is really good hasn't pottied in the house at all. He sleeps in his crate and is getting used to going into it. He rides in my truck everywhere I go. He's a little nervous in my truck I think mainly cause its loud and bumpy he does fine in Cyndi's car. He just lays down inside my truck when we start going at speed and then when we stop he sits up again. Oh and he snores lol! He does really good with kids although they are scared of him at first. Hes really calm too he just kinda hangs out with us. I think we are gonna try out some new toys cause he has no interest in chasing his ball lol! He looks at it and looks at you as if to say you go get it lol. He is not protective of his food at all and doesn't growl or anything when you get near him while he's eating. He deffinetly at cuddler and kisser hahaha oh and a bit of a drooler. He's doing great and we are all so happy to have him.
