Hachi

Hachi is doing great. He was adopted by my boyfriend Gary, he lives with Gary, me and two other dogs--Molly (lab/chow mix) and Petey (yellow lab). He really brings out the playfulness in the older dogs.

Hyp

Here are some pics of Hyp (before he got sick) that I sent to my family. I think I have renamed him Moshi (the name of town where i did my dissertation research, it also means smoke). Not really much news from the vet yet. His temp has gone down a little bit, but they are keeping him overnight, giving him more antibiotics and hydrating him since he has really not eaten or drank anything today. I will let you know how that goes!

Tracey, He is doing super. Hard to believe we’ve already had him for 2 mos. He seldom has a potty accident inside. He loves to be outside and go on walks. He’s doing super in his crate at night and loves his squeak toys. He still enjoys a good game of tug w/ the braid rope from Lori. He is perfect for us. In fact, he’s everything I dreamed of when I pictured a dog for our family. Hope things are going well w/ you and the TARA friends find safe homes! Thanks, Beth

Dear Virginia, We love her!!!!!!!!!! She is just a terrific, beyond terrific dog. We are just thrilled. Little Love took a bit, but it is really going well now. Little Love walks by her, quite close and today they rubbed noses for a bit! Very cute. We will be taking her to dog training classes soon, but she really seems to know a few basic commands. She is house trained. She goes a little anxious walking around other dogs, but I think that will calm pretty quickly. She has a vet appointment on Wednesday morning. Thank you so much for asking. Hendrix

Hi Virginia! Hendrix is doing great! We had our first vet check-up, and other than a bit more medicine for his cough he is good to go! As you can see, we havent picked out a new name for him...although we thought about it, the name suits him fairly well, and he answers to it! :) He already has a schedule, we have only had one "potty training" issue, but he is pretty much completely house broken! He is enjoying his new playmates (our cats and the boys) and is starting to loosen up a litlle. Thanks for checking in with us, he is a perfect fit for our family! Kirsten
