Meet Hachi! What a cutie pie! Hachi is a an awesome dog, very sweet and affectionate as well as playful - he'll even convince a not so playful dog to play with him! He is very much people oriented, loves to lay on the sofa or even on top of you! He's fine with cats, and would be great with kids. He is housetrained and non-destructive. He can be a little sneaky as he likes to go for a run (sometimes without his master) so he needs a home with at least a 5ft fence or someone willing to take him on walks.
But enough about his ornery side, just look at that cute shar pei face and you will fall in love. He is one cute boy for sure, with his overly big head and baggy, wrinkled fur around his neck. You will always know when he's happy by how much he wags his tail. Hachi is probably around 40lbs, but he likes his food and will put on a few more pounds in a good home.

Adoption Fee: $150
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
