Abby-Lu
We have not changed her name as it seems to fit her well. Abby is a great puppy. She is potty trained and loves being outside especially with this weather. This morning I could not get her to come inside. Our neighbors have a beagle puppy(Casey) that is Abby's same age and Casey can fit through our picket fence so her and Abby play all the time. They are really good buddies it is fun to see them play together. We had about 25 people over to our house for Labor Day including 7 kids under the age of 8 and Abby did wonderful with everyone. That was so nice to see for us.
We have been in puppy class with Abby through petsmart for 3 weeks now and she does great. She is really picking up on training techniques quickly.
We love having our sweet Abby-Lu and can't thank your group enough for allowing us to have her be a part of our family. Thanks as well to Paula and her family for their wonderful care of her for the first months of her life. We are quite sure she is such a great puppy because of them.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Ben and Megan

She is doing wonderful!! We did re-name her Milly, sometimes we call her Mills. She was named after a town by the Lake of the Ozarks called Gravois Mills. She still enjoys walks, playing with ropes and bones, and eating treats. We do dress her up at times. She sleeps in bed with us underneath the covers, she loves that. So glad to have her in our family!!
Amanda
Shes pretty good I think she knows what to do. I couldnt get her to eat until I fixed her food and took it to her on "her" couch (she seems to be food agressive towards me) She seems to be fairly normal during the daytime but is very fearful to go out at night. An ambulance went by while we were out, she was scared and howled the whole time (sounded exactly like the siren)
Bonnie and Amanda have bonded and spend all their time on the sofa

This week we're celebrating Attie's (formerly Audrey) one year adoption anniversary! We adopted Attie from you Jan. 8th last year. She has grown into such a sweet, energetic, dog who is full of love she can't wait to share! She plays well with her sister (Scout, adopted in Ohio) and they enjoy runs, hiking, and playing frisbee. My husband actually proposed to me last March by tying the ring to a bow on Attie's collar! We couldn't have asked for a sweeter girl!! We are now married and live in Texas. Here is a recent pic of our girl enjoying the sunshine :) Thanks again!
Amelia
Hi Paula!
Merry Christmas! Hope you are doing well! We have had a great first year with Kanga (Amelia). We love her so much, and she is so much a part of our family!
We celebrated her first birthday in November at the dog park. She LOVES to play with her dog friends and swim in the lake. She is such a smart, sweet, playful girl. She has a lot of energy and loves to play with her toys, explore in the backyard, ride in the car, and go for runs (she ran her first timed 5k with me in September! I don't think she was even tired afterwards). Kanga is big on giving kisses and loves to cuddle when she gets sleepy. She is still very cautious and always tries to protect us. She graduated from puppy preschool this year, loves to learn new tricks, and is getting bigger and braver every day!
I attached a few pictures so you could see what she looks like all grown up. She is about 50 lbs now and still soft and fluffy.
Thank you and T.A.R.A. so much for saving our little girl! We couldn't imagine life without her!
Best Wishes,
Heather, Brett, and Kanga
