This pretty girl's name is Sweety Pie. Sweety is a playful, young, hound/shepherd mix, who came to TARA with her sister, Candy Crush. She loves to romp and play, but her favorite thing to do is catch tennis balls and chew on sticks!  Sweety is up for a jog or run, but tends to get sidetracked by squirrels. What can you expect though? She is part hound, after all! Like her sister, Sweety Pie is smart and food motivated, which makes training a breeze; in fact, she already knows basic commands. 

Sweety & Candy are good with other dogs & children. We aren't sure how well these sisters would do with a kitty sibling, but we can cat-test them if you have a cat and are interested in adding one or both pups to your crew.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
