Meet Candy Crush! She is a playful, young, hound/shepherd mix, who came to TARA with her sister, Sweety Pie. Candy enjoys running, playing & like a true hound - chasing squirrels! Another great thing about this adorable girl... she is smart and food motivated, which makes training much easier. Candy & Sweety are good with other dogs & children. We aren't sure how well these sisters would do with a kitty sibling, but we can cat-test them if you have a cat and are interested in adding one or both pups to your crew.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
