Lew and his 6 siblings were rescued with their momma from a life of neglect, chained in a back yard! Although their momma is only about 40 pounds, we expect these little butterballs to be much larger! Lew is a very social puppy. Loves people & other dogs. He is the first to want to come inside when they've been outside playing - really loves being with his people! Easily trained - goes potty every time she is initially let outside and has been pretty consistent on the paper inside too. Unfortunately, we have learned that Lew does have a heart murmur. At this time, the vet feels there is a good chance Lew could outgrow this murmur with no side effects, however, there is always the chance that it could be something more serious. Lew is such a great boy, we hope this doesn't dash his hopes of finding the perfect forever home!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
