It's impossible to tell when watching this GORGEOUS sleek black cat that he only has three legs. Coal can jump to high places and climb things as well as any 4-legged cat...he just struggles to cover things up in the litterbox BUT HE TRIES!!

We were contacted by someone who had inherited Coal, his mother Ebony and his half-brother Jet when they moved into the home on the property that these cats had made their home.

Coal had ventured off and when he returned a couple weeks later, he had badly injured his leg and was unable to walk on it. The caretakers were told by their vet that the leg would have to be amputated but they did could not afford the surgery so they reached out to us.

Although he is a little shy at first and prefers quieter environments, this sweet boy has blossomed into a wonderfully loving cat who enjoys being pet. He is used to other cats and appears to be good around dogs.

Don't let the three legs fool you...he is fast to run and take cover if he needs to as he lived all his life outdoors until he came to us where he is happily enjoying the safety indoors provides.

Approximate Birthdate:  06/16/2011
