Tinkerbell (or "Tink" as we like to call her) and her sister Twire and mother Taylor came to us when their caretaker moved to a nursing home.

Tink and Twire had a very rough start in their life as their mother was on her own for a while to nourish herself as well as 7 kittens. Tink and Twire were the only survivors of the litter, but the lack of nourishment had stunted their initial growth and mental development.

Unlike her namesake (who is known for being braver than most fairies when it comes to getting close to humans), Tinkerbell is still working on her bravery around humans but she has really come a long way. In a quiet home environment with experienced and patient cat people she warms up and now actively seeks out attention and enjoys being petted and held. She is still a little skittish and likes attention on her own terms, but she has been transformed from the fearful kitten we once knew.

Tink enjoys laser lights, feather wands and the turbo track toy. She gets along with cats and dogs and would make a great addition to a household of patient cat lovers.
