Bamboo

Our boy Bamboo is doing great. The ride home to Winnipeg went tremendously well as our little man slept most of the way. It seems that he had developed a slight cold and I wonder if that made him a little groggy. Either way, it was a super easy car ride and crossing the border was just as easy. Thanks once again for all the up to date paper work - it made things at the border so much easier. Bamboo seems to be adjusting quite well. Loves to be in our company and is doing well in sitting and listening. Have been taking him for regular walks and once he is old enough, I am sure that he will love and benefit from running with us. The crate training is going well and the crying after we leave for work is diminishing day by day. We are definitely in love and our glad to have him as part of our family. Thanks for everything. Cynthia Update: Hope that all is well in the fine city of Kansas. Just wanted to send you an update on our little boy. Bamboo is doing great. Had a check up at the end of Oct and was diagnosed with round worm and localized mange. The round worm has been taken care of and Bamboo is now on monthly dosages of Interceptor. Due to his location and breed, our new vet thought that it would be a good idea to keep him on it all year round. As for the mange, the little spots we think we caused by stress — moving, tapeworm, roundworm, new parents, new location etc…. They have already begun to disappear and we have him on meds as well as herbal powder recommend by our vet to boost his immune system. Since then, everything has good. He is gaining weight and looking healthy. Spends a lot of time sleeping as puppies do and is enjoying our walks and interactions with other dogs at friends’ home and at the dog parks here in the city. Have sent some new pics of our little man which I took yesterday. He is getting cuter by the day. Hope that all is well with the both of you.
