Hi Virginia! I hope your holidays were filled with happiness too! Walter is fabulous, we are all so in love we just couldn't be any happier. We continue to work on housebreaking... he goes several days in a row without an accident and just when i begin to think he has it figured out... he surprises me. getting on a schedule with work and using the kennel has helped and i think he'll continue to get better. he certainly knows it's not a good choice when we have to sit down and talk about it at the scene of the accident. he's funny, energetic and wakes up excited for the day! he loves the neighbor dogs, if they are out he must also go out and chat with them... norman is right behind him just to make sure he doesn't miss out on anything. they play together, racing through the house and both keep a watchful eye on the house, alerting me to every leaf, twig, or bag that may blow by the window. he loves a cookie at bedtime and doesn't hesitate to remind me when it's mealtime! he keeps us laughing with funny, playful gestures and games. and at the end of the evening, we love to curl up on the sofa together to watch our favorite TV shows. thank you for sharing this sweet, fun guy with us... we're having a great time together! cathi horton
