Sherrie, Bella is doing great when she is left out of her crate! She was out a couple hours on Saturday, and then six hours yesterday. She didn't have any accidents, and didn't get into anything. She did start chewing on my hope chest while I was home yesterday, but that was the only thing I noticed. I am very impressed. I have been leaving her out at night also, and she does get in her crate at some point during the night and stays there until I get up in the morning. I did have to bring her in my room last night and shut the door though, because she started barking at people who were coming home late. I had never heard her bark before last night. Anyways, things are good! She gets so excited when I come home, its funny! Things went well when she met Jacob, she let him pet her and even scratch her stomach. She's still turning her head, but I told him she did that with me at first also. He'll be coming over again tonight so I'm sure she'll start warming up. OH, and Bella doesn't seem to be afraid of cats too much because yesterday morning she saw one and took off after it before I knew what was going on. Poor cat! I'm going to have to do some research on introducing her to cats because I plan to take her to my mom's house on Saturday. We may have to put Inky in my mom's room to start out.
