Blondie
Virginia,
We are going on 10 months since I brought Bella home and wanted to give you a quick update.
After a bit of a bumpy start, she is doing well. In the first few months her anxiety and aggression with other dogs was tough. She ate my woodwork, entertainment center, couch AND my bed! This is when I was home and often just if I stepped out of the room. She also lunged and snarled at every dog she saw.
Putting her on anxiety meds was a game changer and helped tremendously! We also did private aggression lessons with a trainer at Wayside Waifs which helped both Bella and I better handle interactions with other dogs. She has even made a doggie friend where we live!
All of the challenges have been worth it! She is the most sweet, loving dog and can never get enough love. Wherever I am, she is as close as she can get next to me and immediately rolls on her back for belly rubs from any human she meets. And after 10 months, she will FINALLY use the elevator (we live on the 4th floor)!
Bella is my first rescue dog and she has required time, attention and A LOT of patience - LOL! She has added so much to my life and I am thankful that Taras Hope was there to rescue her more than once! Thank you all for what you do

Emma
Just wanted to send you a picture of our sweet Emma that we adopted 8 years ago. She has been a blessing every day weve had her. She is now living the retired life down in South Texas. And loves her rides on the golf cart.
Alannah
The BEST decision we could have made!! She's so sweet and cuddly and we just love her! She and Millie are so great together!
Thank you for checking on us. We'll keep in touch.
Nancy
Hi Virginia,
Needless to say, she has taken our hearts! She is amazing and fitting in great.
Her new name is Sadie and she already is responding to that. Leash walks are a bit of a challenge right now, but I have a no-pull harness on order, so it will get better.
She is definitely eager to please and loves to learn.
Thanks again for allowing us to bring her into our lives!

Hi Laurie,
Its good to hear from you. Martin is doing really well. He is adjusting to our home nicely. We are having so much fun playing with him and getting a few snuggles in too. We are having a wonderful time together. Thanks for all your help in adopting our sweet little kitty!
Thanks again,
Kristin
