Teddy Bear
Things are going fantastically. He found the toy basket right away and dragged almost all the toys out including a large bone as big as he is. He and Boone wrestled and chased and had a great time. Tucker and he made circles all the way through the house and they didn’t stop playing until bedtime. I figured he would tire out before that, but he’s a little energizer bunny. When he got tired of wrestling them straight on, he hid under my bed and conducted sneak attacks, barking and biting them as they walked by. It was hilarious.
Tobie
Michael, Just thought I would get back to you on how things are going with Tobie. It could not be going any better. We thought maybe there would be some training issues, well my little boy is prefect and not an issue one. Abby likes her little brother. He has been helping her out a lot and she has been showing him the ropes. He loves his walks and all the neighbor dogs. You and the TARA organization has truly made me a believer on adopting a shelter dog. Tobie could not be anymore prefect for our family.
Thanks for all your help.

Tonto
Hi Virginia!
I hope your holidays were filled with happiness too! Walter is fabulous, we are all so in love we just couldn't be any happier. We continue to work on housebreaking... he goes several days in a row without an accident and just when i begin to think he has it figured out... he surprises me. getting on a schedule with work and using the kennel has helped and i think he'll continue to get better. he certainly knows it's not a good choice when we have to sit down and talk about it at the scene of the accident.
he's funny, energetic and wakes up excited for the day! he loves the neighbor dogs, if they are out he must also go out and chat with them... norman is right behind him just to make sure he doesn't miss out on anything. they play together, racing through the house and both keep a watchful eye on the house, alerting me to every leaf, twig, or bag that may blow by the window. he loves a cookie at bedtime and doesn't hesitate to remind me when it's mealtime! he keeps us laughing with funny, playful gestures and games. and at the end of the evening, we love to curl up on the sofa together to watch our favorite TV shows.
thank you for sharing this sweet, fun guy with us... we're having a great time together!

Thatcher
Thatcher, now called Rex, has found a wonderful new home with a doggy sister he just loves to wrestle with! The whole family even came out to join us for the Brookside St. Patty's Day parade this year...it was great to see how happy he is! And sounds like his family is as crazy about him as he is about them..."Rex is doing great and seems to be happy with us. He follows me everywhere and is good at just hanging out in the office while I work. He has decided to sleep in the bed with us despite several dogs beds to choose from. This should get interesting when we go on his first RV trip where the bed is much smaller. We love him!!!"
Tango
Tango has been doing great. He is a great addition to the family! He is still a little unsure of visitors but when it comes to my wife and I he is just another member of the family
