Slick

He's is perfect! He basically sleeps in the morning after our little walk and then has been playing with his toys this afternoon. I decided to go with Mr. Meyagi, but call him Auggie for short. Thanks!! Beth

Smokey

Hi, Virginia, Smokey is doing great! We are so lucky no one else had adopted him earlier! The grandkids were here for about 7 hours yesterday and all went well. They like him very much and he was just perfect with them. Thanks so much! --Cindy

Snapple

Thanks Virginia, We picked her up on the 4th, and things are going well. After much deliberation, the kids finally agreed on the name Shadow for her, and she's learning to come when called. We definitely have more work to do on training, but she seems to pick things up pretty quickly, and clearly wants to please once she forms a bond (which she seems to be doing, particularly with me and Matthew who have spent the most time with her the past few days.) She took a while to get comfortable, but is warming up to us and we are starting to see her personality coming out. We get our invisible fence on Tuesday, so will be able to spend much more time in the backyard, which I know she will love. I could tell she wanted to play a bit more energetically and get off her leash, but I've been hesitant to let her spend much time off it outside until we have a more secured area. She's been really good about coming when I call her, so last evening we all went outside and got her chasing a tennis ball, and Matthew, in our backyard. I knew she was strong, but she is really FAST too! It was fun to watch her out there, so happy. Each time we have gone out to play like that, she notices more, beyond our yard, and looks tempted. So far she's come when I've called her, but if the right bird or rabbit tempted her, I'm not sure that I'd trust her to know the boundries right now, so for a few more days, outdoor playtime will be limited. Also, we did finally hear her bark, after 2 days! I'll keep you posted on how things develop.

Scooby

We couldn't of asked for a better first night.....he found his spot, and slept all night. He hasn't had any more accidents inside, he's going to be fine <>. The Girls still aren't sure why he is here, but haven't seen anything bad from any of them. All's well !! I'll be in touch.

Sir Francis Drake

He is doing well. His new name is Arthur. He’s had some health problems but we’re working on them. He is a master guard dog, loves to eat, and relishes his twice daily walks!
