Nina

Hey Virgina I wanted to give you guys an update. Nina is doing great, I found a dog trainer in Gladstone, Miles to Miles dog training. She went for a two week bootcamp. She came back sooo much better, she heals on the lead, sits, stays(not for long but we are working on it). I can tell she is a happier dog, it's like she has a job when we are out walking, her tail is up high, her ears are perky waiting for me to tell her what to do. She isn't perfect, she still likes to chew up those fake eggs I have on the coffee table. (only 2 left) She and sadie are better, I can feed them within 2 ft of each other with no problems, Nina finishes first, sits and waits for Sadie to get done. She loves the snow, enclosed is a photo of her in the backyard. If you guys are ever out this way please feel free to stop by and say hi, Nina would love to see you. Becky

Hi there: Just wanted to keep you posted on Nala. She seems very happy here and even though the kids can be loud (especially the new drum set:)) she just hangs out with them. She seems to have a great temperment....very playful at playtime and just chills during the down time. She is helping me keep the floors clean but eating up all the crumbs. She has slept at night in her kennel since we brought her home and is doing great keeping it dry. We are still working on the potty training....only 2 accidents today though....much better than yesterday (she had 8-10). We are training her to ring the bell on the door when she has to go and she rang it twice today....big progress!! She loves her rope to chew on and rough play with. My oldest son loves her so much. Well, we all do but they have a special bond already. She likes to nap on our feet and has enjoyed romping in the snow. She is eating tons so she must be feeling lots better and her cough is the worst in the am but gets better after being awake for an hour. She goes to the vet Thurs for her first checkup. Sorry about not getting back sooner but I was off a lot around the holidays and had a lot to catch up on. Nick is not w/o some common issues new pets have but all in all he is doing very well. I'm working on getting him to follow commands and he's picking that up pretty well now I just have to get him to stop grabbing random items in the house and carrying them around. He's a good dog and is fitting in nicely with the rest of the family including all of the other dogs. Thanks for checking it and let me know if you have any other questions.
