Jetta Jane

Hi Tracey-- Thought I'd check in real quick and let you know how Jetta's doing. We couldn't be more in love with her! She's exactly what I was looking for in a dog. She is having a slight problem with one of the two cats, but it's more that he doesn't know she's trying to play with him. She's responding very well to distraction and not bothering him TOO much! She's so gentle with Everleigh and tolerates her very well. I think they're going to be best friends. I've included one of my favorite pictures of the two of them, both sitting at my feet begging me to share my Froot Loops. Her description definitely called it right when it was mentioned that she would be a great running buddy! I don't take her out too long in the heat, but she can go about half a mile before we need to turn back. She stays right by my side and doesn't have any problems keeping up with me at all! She's doing very well in the house and hasn't had a single "accident". She does LOVE to chase squirrels in the back yard, but never tries to jump the fence to go after them. We had one small incident where she ran out the garage door while we were unloading a big piece of equipment (ironically, a baby gate for the stairs!), but we were able to catch her before she got too far away, and now we make sure the garage door is down before we open the door that leads into the house, and that seems to have solved the problem nicely. I can't tell you enough how much we appreciate the hard work and dedication you and the rest of the TARA team have shown. Josey

"She is doing great! When we first brought her home you could tell she was nervous and a little skiddish. Since then she has been awesome. She did great while we were at work, no accidents or nothing torn up. We left her in the downstairs bathroom but since she did so good she just roams the house while we are gone. Josey has definitely warmed up to us. She runs the back yard with the kids and is even playing fetch with the frisbee. I can't believe how well behaved she is and how well she listens. I can't express enough how thankful we are to you for letting her become part of our family. Josey has made us a complete family!!!!!!"

Jade

Jade is living out her HAPPY TAIL with her new family who loves her very much. They tell us her canine siblings were very excited to meet her when she first came home and that Jade made fast friends with the family cat. Congratulations on finding your forever family, sweet girl!

Jordi

Hi Sherrie, Jordi is doing well. I was going to email you today to see if you could find out what kind of treats she was getting, if any. I bought some at Walmart, but they did not agree with her tummy. They were the low fat kind. Other than that, she is doing well. We got her some of the pupperoni and rawhides and she is a happy girl. We are all adjusting well and she has added so much to our home!

Joey

Joey is doing GREAT at our house. We really enjoy his company, he is very sweet and purrs all the time. Joey also plays with his shih tzhu brother a lot and steals the dog toys and bones to play with. During the day they often sleep next to each other on the couch. John and I couldn't be more happy with Joey as he is a great cat and the perfect fit for our home.
