Daria
Darla/Peyton is doing great. She is having fun, loves swimming at Shawnee Mission Park and laying around the house.
Drew
Thanks for checking in on us! Drew is doing great! She just loves playing with our other dog, Sydney. We had a couple of accidents the first 2 days but we understand her routine a little better now so we are able to get her outside. She has even gone to the door a few times!! I attached some pictures so you can see for yourself.
Thanks for letting us bring Drew home - we just adore her!
Dagwood
Hello everyone - I wanted each of you to know that I took Grandpa Jack a new dog today. His name is Dagwood and he is just a doll! He has had a tough time this last week after he put Precious down and I just couldn't stand the fact that he was all alone all day! So - I got him a rescue shitzu/pug/pekinease mix. He is 6 years old and I had him checked out by my vet yesterday and all is good. My vet did some teeth work on him (cleaned and pulled a couple) along with removing some skin tags/warts from his little tail. He is a little overweight and he needs to have some TLC in the grooming department. I had him bathed and clipped by my groomer as well and he just looks a million times better. Gramps had no idea I was bringing him the little fellow today and when I got to the house I called him and told him to come outside. He came out throught the garage and the first thing he saw was Dagwood wagging his tail. Gramps just started crying and smiling all at the same time. I told Gramps that this little guy needs someone to love him and give him a good home. Gramps is so darn happy - Aunt Kris was with me on Saturday when I adopted him and I have been holding my breath the last 4 days while he has been at my house that he would work for Gramps. The girls are so in love with him and carry him all over the house. They were really sad to have him leave today but they are happy that he is going to be with Gramps - they both want to babysit for Grandpa really soon - anyway....,you might call him and check how he is doing. Dagwood doesn't bark but he loves to grunt and snort. It is really funny! I'm glad Gramps was so happy!!!!
Dominick
Hello Sherrie!
I planned to email you at some point this week and am happy you emailed me. Desmond ("Dezi") could not have been a better fit if custom picked! I am astounded hourly at how anyone would have abandoned him. He is the sweetest, most lovable, and obedient dog. We all love him! Thank you so much for all of your assistance matching us up, thank you for trusting our family to adopt him. I can't imagine not having him already, he became immediate family.
