Duke
Hi guys,
Hope everyone is ok during this winter weather. Just wanted to let you know Duke is doing just fine! We find he is very vocal and ornrey in the morning! Here's some photos of the rascal.
Diva
Hi Tracey:
Here are some pictures of Diva after she was groomed. She is doing
fine.
Pat
Dax
Cymantha,
He is one bundle of energy but such a joy. In May is he signed up for doggy classes and we are working with him on some basic commands now. Both Grace and Tobias went to Pet Smart and picked out a new toy, he loves his new little brown dog, this morning it was on my pillow as he has to take it up on the bed at night.
Ruth
Dahra
Dahra's new name is Stella & here's what her mom had to say about this beautiful girl..."Hi all,
Hope you are all doing well. I wanted to send updated pictures of Stella
in case you are curious as to how *big* she's gotten. She is doing
quite well. Stella can now sit, shake paw, go up and down stairs by
herself. She is working on stay and laying down on command. Potty
training is going well, but she does have an occasional set back.
Stella had her first airplane ride when she traveled home to Chicago
with me to meet her grandparents, uncles, aunts and nieces and
dog-cousin for Christmas. She did really well underneath the airplane
seat, without medications. Everyone wanted to see who had the curious
eyes in the carrier and were surprised at how quiet she was! She is
being socialized regularly at the dog park and getting used to meeting
new people, although she is still quite skittish and takes a while to
warm up to them. Stella had her first professional grooming, complete
with valentine's day bows!
I wanted to thank you all so much for taking such good care of Stella
before I met her, and allowing me to adopt her.
Take care,
Allie"
Darby
Thank You for passing on the word so quickly. I actually got the pics around midnight that night. I now have the one of all 4 of us on my Facebook and I cropped it so it is me and Darby for my profile pic. I even threw on my status that if anybody is looking to adopt to head your way. From experiences before, you all are definitely the most sincere and appreciative organization that we have run across. I will definitely keep in touch and send some other pics back in the near future. I will have my wife ready to snap some. Just today he was half on my lap going at my face. We are all getting along great. He has not marked that I know of and today he officially ate a bowl of food. He seems pretty happy as far as I can tell and I see that things are gonna work GREAT!!! I got nervous when my allergies started kicking up but heard today that it's just really bad right now for people with allergies so I think I'm good with that now. I think he is what I have been missing and thank you for giving me the opportunity to give him a home. I am currently investigating moving to a house with a fenced back yard that will give me more freedom with leash laws and everything. Playing can be difficult with a leash and even just doing "business" it can tangle up some. At least we have room inside and have the weekend at the in-laws of which tomorrow.....or later today, he will meet those other dogs. Thanks a bunch again and I'll be in touch.
