Cindee
Cindee, now Maize has been adopted into a family with 4 older children and a big canine sister named Bella. They practically match! Bella allows Maize to run all over her, literally. They love playing steal the toy, hide and chase. Everyone is in love! Not the best photo but they are always on the go!
Connee
Connee, now Rigby became a family member with a big canine brother named Tug. She is settling in quite comfortably and they are fast becoming friends! She's adorable especially with her back sleeping! Rigby is also showing off her smarts by already learning to paw the bell on the back door to go outside to potty. Welcome home Rigby!
Cato
Hi Sherrie! Thanks for checking in on Cato! It really has been a story of a girl and her dog. I know I'm the one who feeds him and picks up the backyard, but this dog's loyalty is certainly to my daughter, Hadley. They are together NON-STOP. If she walks outside without him, he sits at the door and whines. If I go outside, he doesn't seem to notice. ;) In his puppy phase, he chewed up plenty of my shoes, but never any of hers. He is very smart and obedient. He knows commands of sit, shake, high five, lay down, get in your bed, and roll over. The one thing he doesn't do well is walk on a leash. We've tried every non-hurtful collar and harness on the market. He just gets SOOOOO excited! We are just still over the moon over our Cato Potato. He's sweet, loyal, and everything we dreamed of in a dog. And he's pretty spoiled, too, so we think he likes it just as much with us!
Thank you again for all TARA does for animals, especially helping ones like ours find their fur-ever homes! :)

Caretta
Hi Sherrie!
Yes, we sure love our girl, her name was changed when we adopted her. She is known as Greta. When we adopted her, we were told she would be 20lbs max.. She is now more than double that weight and very much a medium dog. We think she is a Berger Picardy Shepard mix. She loves to hunt (just brought us a bunny yesterday! on Easter!..well part of it...) She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. I will attach a picture of her. She still thinks she is a lapdog sometimes because I held her like a baby when she was younger and smaller so, she will try to jump into my lap sometimes :-) We just love her and can't imagine our famiy without our Greta. Thanks for checking in on her!
I attached a picture from April 2014 and one from 2015 Christmas to show you the difference :-)

Callie
Hi Virginia. Callie really is settling in and we love her. So glad you saved her so we could adopt her. We sit in front of the fire after dinner and she loves to nap on the mantel.
