Rickie is a very handsome, smart, adventurous and sweet boy. He is a graduate of the Puppies for Parole program. He knows all his basic commands of sit, stay, lay down and ready to learn more. He has good recall and is very obedient. He can be reserved when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for him to bond and show his sweetness. Rickie is very smart and true to his breed, he loves to be kept busy, but not your typical heeler, in that he is also very calm and laid back. Rickie loves joining his person in all they do and is always ready to go! He is the perfect walking buddy and gets along well with other dogs. Rickie is looking for a fun, happy, adventurous family to love and be his forever home!

Adoption Fee: $200
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
