Meet Sabrina! Sabrina is a pittie mix, and she’s a firecracker of energy who would make for a sweet companion for an active household. She walks well on a leash, and she does simmer down once she gets some energy out. Her energy level is in part because she’s in a boarding facility where her time to play is always limited, so we believe she would settle into a home environment very nicely. Sabrina’s good with most other dogs but would would need some time to get used to sharing her home with another pet as she hasn't had to since being in our program. She’s friendly with everyone, but as she can be so excited at times, she would be best suited for a home without very small children that she might knock over with kisses! Sabrina wants to remind you that it’s not easy to find a home when you’re a black dog, and she would love an opportunity to meet you and melt your heart.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
