Leon and his six siblings were rescued at 4 weeks old from under an abandoned house porch. Mom is reported to be about 35lbs but has yet to be found. Leon is sweet, active, happy, bold and cuddly soft. He is confident and curious about new things/people. He is a people follower and loves to hang out with the human. He is very smart, observant and boldly goes forward into the world. Leon will also bark while backing away from something scary. He will be ready for his forever family the week of May 16.

Adoption Fee: $200.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a    two week trial    .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
