Reese is social, adventurous, bold, quite fearless, curious, engaging, likes petting and snuggling for short times then he's off for adventures but catch him when he's tired and he will nap by your side. He will run to the human to be held, petted and comforted when first getting up or out of the kennel and when startled or frightened but quickly regains his confidence and goes back to play. Reese sits for food and treats. He has conquered going up and down the wood stairs, jumping up on the couch and playing chase while the human tries to remove the stick in his mouth - somehow he just knows! He is very observant of the resident dogs and catches on quickly. His physical features point stronger on the side of Akita. Please read up on his breed mix.  Reese has a great personality, food motivated for easy training and is so much fun!

Adoption Fee: $200.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
