Hi! My name is Poppyseed! Why Poppyseed you ask? Well, let me tell you! One of my parents was a Basset Hound and one was a Beagle. So a Basset plus a Beagle equals a BAGEL! I'M A BAGEL and Poppyseed bagels are my FAVORITE! Now that that conundrum is out of the way let's talk about ME! Like the typical bagel, I have a slightly crispy crust and sof...wait wrong bagel.

I am a very playful girl and once you get to know me, you won't believe that I'm not a puppy. I'm 4 years old and perfect if you want a fun loving dog without the puppy training to go along with it.  I'm fully house and kennel trained and am pretty good at going to the door when I want to go outside.  I don't chew up things and I'm pretty laid back when it's not playtime. I love playing with dogs of all sizes, however, I can overwhelm smaller dogs with my excitement.  After a long play session I like to snuggle up next to you on the couch and sleep FOREVER!  I'm a good girl who is looking for a fun loving, laid back, playful family of my very own!

Approximate Birthdate:  Nov. 2011

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
