Lincoln is a handsome guy who LOVES giving head butts and twirling around your legs to let you know that he cares. He is his happiest when he's in contact with people. Lincoln was found living in the woods, dirty and lonely. Now he's a happy inside cat, and can't wait for his forever home! Lincoln just can't get or give enough affection and he'll be a very happy lap kitty.

Lincoln has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, and is rarely transmitted between housecats. FIV is most often transmitted through deep bite wounds and between unneutered males defending their territory. Health precautions for Lincoln include ensuring that he receives his annual vaccinations, keeping him indoors, providing a low-stress environment, and feeding high-quality food. He would also benefit from some over-the-counter supplements to help support his immune system. To help Lincoln get a head start, we'll be sending him home with a 2-month supply of the supplements he's been taking with us.

Lincoln has been around other cats and hasn't minded them, and he hasn't been around dogs yet. We'd be happy to introduce him to a dog if you have a dog and you're interested in adoption.
