We saved this dog just in time - he was on the list to be euthanized the day we pulled him from Animal Control. Elvis is about 5 years old and although we don't know how he came to be on death row, it is quite apparent that this poor boy has had a very rough life. He is very thin and our vet discovered that his front leg had been broken in six places and, without any treatment, healed improperly which makes him walk a little crooked. He also noted that his ears had been mutilated in an attempt to "crop" them, most likely by some very cruel individual using scissors or a similar implement.

Despite his harrowing ordeal, Elvis is an extremely sweet and good natured boy. He gets along great with other dogs, loves people and is fine with cats. If anyone was ever deserving of love and comfort, Elvis is definitely at the top of the list. Please consider providing a safe and loving home for this sad little guy and help him forget the pain and neglect he has endured.
