About Ruffles

  • Declawed: No

Ruffles was brought to the Liberty Animal Shelter on 07/23/15. She was found wandering alone near Ruth Moore Park in Liberty. Nobody ever came to look for her at the shelter, so she is now safe in Rescue and a foster home.  She is young, likely only 8-10 weeks.  We believe Ruffles to most likely be a Bernese/Bearded Collie mix, based on her coloration, markings and that cute scruffy coat she has, not to say how big she already is!.  We can't tell how big she is going to be, but our best guess is that she will be a roughly large to xl-sized dog (possibly 70-90 lbs full grown). She got a long quite well with the  small dogs at the shelter, but has yet to be tested with cats and bigger dogs.  We will work on that testing with bigger dogs in her foster home in the next few days.  She has a sweet personality and loves to be with people. She is trying hard to get potty training, but as always with young pups, regardless how big breed, it is a work in progress and requires patience from everyone involved. ;)

Please apply soon for this sweetheart so she can begin her journey to a life full of love and happiness with her forever person or family!
