Grizzly is a male australian shepherd/ lab mix who is approximately 3 years old.  A volunteer/foster mom took this boy in for TARA, after he spent more than 7 months at Liberty Animal Shelter waiting for his happily ever after. Even after his stay at the shelter, he has never had an accident in the house. He is completely house trained and kennel trained. Grizzly LOVES his energetic outings and walks, but he is also a great "go to" guy when one needs some love and affection. He likes to play and romp, but settles down nicely afterwards. .  Grizzly is such a very sweet boy and as long as he is able to play with a canine sibling or his human guardian, he should be fine in a home with or without other dogs. Grizzly absolutely loves to play games; he especially enjoys tug of war with his canine foster sibling. Grizzly never chews anything he is not supposed to- only dog toys that his foster mom gives him. Grizzly would prefer a home with a fenced in backyard where he can run. He is an all-around loving doggy that deserves his second chance at forever, never to be surrendered to a city shelter again.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
