Approximate Birthdate:  01/2012

Adoption Fee: $250

Nick is the newest and by far, LARGEST, member of the TARA crew. He is a purebred English Mastiff with a beautiful brindle coat and a head the size of a prize winning watermelon! He gets along with other dogs, although he can be intimidating to other dogs due to his size alone. A home without cats or other small animals would be the best fit for Nick.

Nick was purchased from a breeder as a puppy and abandoned like trash, when his owners moved away and left him to roam their farm. Luckily a neighbor took him in and kept him until she could find a safe, loving place for him. He is now with TARA and we are determined we will not let him down again! We are looking for a forever family who will love and cherish him like a member of family and not discard him like abandoned property. Do you have ROOM in your heart and home for this gentle giant?

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
