Jackie is a black lab/border collie (that’s our best guess, anyway) puppy who was born on 12/15/2014 (again, a guess!)  He is a typical puppy – young, playful and super sweet, in fact his foster parents have nicknamed him puppy-love and roly-poly.  Jackie was found as a stray and luckily someone picked him up and gave him a temporary home until a foster home opened up with TARA.  He is catching on quickly with potty training and already has learned to keep his crate clean-even overnight!  He gets along well with his canine foster brothers and sisters and is learning lots from them.  He is also learning not to bother his kitty foster sister, and is doing well, but doesn’t understand why she won’t play with him!  Please contact us if you are interested in adopting Jackie.  He has so much to learn about being part of a family and is ready to continue learning with you!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
