Jake is a male red bone coonhound mix who is approximately 10-18 months old. This boy is such a sweetheart! He is a true hound and wants to be loved and laughed at at his silly antics. He is not yet neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He has been given a rabies, distemper combo vaccine and a bordetella vaccine along with a dewormer. His heartworm status is unknown at this time. Jake is 65 pounds and is believed to be house trained. Jake is a very happy guy who has a good amount of energy, but likes to settle right next to you when worn out. :) Jake does well with other dogs (all sizes) and cats, and we believe he would be great with all people, little, big, young and old. Jake was found as a stray and brought to our shelter over 2 months ago. He is now available for adoption because no one has come for him and he so wants to be part of a family once again. Jake will have an adoption fee of $80 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, distemper and bordetella vaccinations, and a simple dewormer. This fee does NOT include his Rabies vaccine or heartworm test. These fees will be paid by the adopter directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.
