If you are looking for the perfect dog, look no further. Red is handsome, smart, gentle, loving and so much more. Red was found behind the Liberty Animal Shelter by one of the Animal Control Officers. His little foot prints in the snow show that he circled the shelter, before investigating the dumpster and train tracks behind the shelter. We don't know how or why he ended up at the shelter, but he is welcome to stay for as long as it takes to find him the perfect family. Red is house trained and knows how to sit as well as sit pretty for treats. He is quiet and very observant. He likes to follow you around and watch your every move. Red enjoys being petted and if he hasn't had enough, he will gently nudge you with his nose for more affection. :)
Red will have an $80.00 adoption fee. Before going to his new home he will be neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and given a full physical examination. If you have any questions or would like to pay him a visit please contact the Liberty Animal Shelter staff at 816-439-4791.
