JC had a rough start in life and came in very undersocialized with his brother Stretch who is also available for adoption.  He is now learning that people are good and is starting to enjoy being a dog!  JC is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 66 pounds.

JC is a pretty perfectly well rounded dog.  He has overcome amazing obstacles and fears and could probably adapt in almost any type of home environment.  He is calm enough to be an apartment dog if he got walks and exercise but would also do great in a house with a yard to run in.

JC is currently being fostered in a home with 3 other dogs and an active family lifestyle. He has gotten along with every dog that he has ever met and he also gets along with cats. 

You couldn't ask for a sweeter, gentler and more affectionate dog.  JC is sure to please!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
