Lilly showed up as a stray in a rural town of Missouri.  The people could not keep her so they had to take her to a shelter where she was placed up for adoption.  Lilly stayed at the shelter for about a month or two.  Lilly was already spayed when she was taken to the shelter so she was someones pet at one time.  Lilly gets along with most dogs and when she was at the shelter she was housed in an outdoor kennel with 4 other dogs at all times.  Lilly is a very active dog who loves to play but mostly loves her humans.  She rides excellent in a car and enjoys cuddling on the couch.  Lilly is working on commands because she has a mind of her own sometimes and can be a little stubborn but she's a smart girl and is catching on quickly!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
