Affectionately nicknamed “Big Daddy” by volunteers, Walt has stolen hearts across TARA. Walt came to us homeless and far too thin – nothing a few weeks of plentiful food and love couldn’t fix! We haven’t seen Walt around a lot of dogs, but he’s so sweet that we think he’d be willing to give them a shot. Easy-going, affectionate, great with other cats, adaptable...Walt will make a wonderful addition to any family. Maybe yours?

To meet this cat outside of the cage, you may need to make an appointment with the caregiver listed above.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
