Daphne was surrendered to a city shelter while pregnant with pups. Luckily, we were able to move her into foster just before she delivered 5 beautiful babies!
All of Daphne's pups have found their forever home, so now she is ready to move on with her life and find her special someone! Here is what her current foster mom has to say about Daphne:"She is great with other dogs and with cats, she loves playing with our German Shepard and I think she would do well in a home that has a doggie play buddy for her. She is super smart! She has learned the words "sit", "off", "no", "kennel" and "shake" and we are working on "down". She is very well behaved, but sometimes does chew on things every once in a while (she'll need to be provided with appropriate chewy toys, rawhides, rolls, etc). She loves cuddles and just wants to be petted and loved on. She is leery of doorways and stairwells . Also, pretty skittish if you accidentally step on her or if you have anything in your hand. She is getting less skittish the more she gets to know us though. Does great in her kennel and is used to sleeping in it and even goes in it on her own to sleep. She is an awesome dog, super sweet, and is going to make someone a wonderful pet!
So come on folks, what's not to love about Daphne??? Please apply for this girl soon and make her Christmas wish come true.
