Hi! I'm Eloise! I was found by some awesome TARA volunteers and even after searching and searching for my family, no one has claimed me. So- I'm looking for a new family to call mine! I am a great family dog! I absolutely love every human I meet. It takes me a little longer to warm up to other dogs, but I have lived very happily in a house with doggy siblings after a slow introduction. My vice is small, fluffy things, so no cats for me! They look too much like squirrels and bunnies, which I would love to chase all day long!
I love car rides and long walks on the beach (really... I love to swim!) I would be a great dog for a semi-active family, because I love playing and exercising, but I am more than happy to lay around home all day!
My foster family says I'm a genius, so I guess it must be true! I know how to sit, lay, play dead, shake, speak, and catch. I also love to play fetch and I know "drop it" and "leave it". I'm good at walking on a leash, but I'm very strong, so my fosters are working with me on not pulling. I am 100% house trained, never ever had an accident. I'm also great in a kennel! I'm used to being in one while my fosters are at work and I sleep in my kennel at night.
If you're a dog person looking for the perfect addition to your home, look no further! I'm beautiful, smart, happy, silly, and cuddly! I would be a great first dog or part of a pack. Please apply today to meet me, because I can't wait to meet you!
