Cory is a sweet lad with those Corgi big ears, soft fur and hound markings - a black saddle, white tipped tail and freckles! His life is a mystery to the humans who saved him BUT with every sunrise he hears that his life is headed for a happy, carefree and loving journey. He is unsure of all the new sights and sounds right now which will change with time and confidence. He’s very quiet in the kennel, keeps it clean and eagerly exits when it’s time to be outside for romping in the yard. He is very observant and watches the human for directions, comfort and rewards. He keeps close tabs on the human of the house and is skilled at burrowing his head into her lap for petting and praises. He rides quietly in the back seat of the car and likes to go on walks. He walks easily on a leash and slows down with a quick tug on the leash though he gives that “why can’t you walk faster” look. He is warming up to his foster canines. Cory is a bundle of sweet and joy hiding behind a timid mask waiting to run circles around one very patient and loving family.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
