Gemma (Jumma) is a T.A.R.A. alumni, she was in our program with her siblings that were all adopted as pups. She has been living in a loving home since she was a puppy and at 9 months/40lbs this sweet girl now needs a forever home. Gemma has learned some very good manners. She comes when she is called (most of the time), sits for treats, keeps her paws on the floor when greeting people or in the kitchen, waits to be invited on the furniture and rides like an angel in the back seat of the car. She loves to snuggle so if she cannot get on the furniture she will sit by your feet for some loving time. She has sleek, soft brindle fur with bat-like qualities - her ears are pointy and sonic, runs fast in the yard with great ability and grace to avoid other objects and people. Gemma is house and crate trained and is working on her leash skills. She’d rather follow her nose or run but she’s a smart girl and loves being with her human so she will catch on if you can’t catch up. When she is all tuckered out her tongue hangs out to show off a few black spots…super cute! Gemma enjoys playing with her two foster canine companions and is respectful of the boundaries the bossy dog sets. She loves chasing squirrels, exploring the back yard and wagging her hips. This girl still has a bundle of puppy energy and will do best with an active family that can include her on all the fun; a dog sibling would be great too but not required.
