What a PURRsonality this handsome boy has! Porthos loves to give kisses and as you can tell from the pictures, he also likes to reach out for you and rub against everything. He gets along with cats and dogs and absolutely loves people! He isn’t a big fan of being held for long periods, but sure loves attention and petting.

As Porthos was part of a cat colony that was mostly TNR'd (Trapped, Neutered and Returned), his ear was “tipped” in preparation for his return so that caretakers could easily tell from afar that he’d already been neutered. Once he was inside and recovering from his neuter surgery, however, this guy turned out to be such a people-lover that we realized he’d be much happier as a housecat! He is looking for his forever inside home where he can be safe and warm for the rest of his life. Could it be yours?

Adoption Fee: $85

This cat can be seen in person at the Northland Petco at 600 NE Vivion Road; however, to visit with him out of the cage, you may need to make an appointment with the contact person listed above.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats we cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
