Update:  Kiefer has now mastered settling down in the house and has become quite a gentleman inside.  Now that we have learned more about him, w e would feel comfortable adopting him to a family with children of any age.  He has been left out of the crate for short periods of time and has behaved very well, no chewing or accidents.  Please check out the  video below to see him playing!

Kiefer is a 1 1/2 year old yellow Lab who has been kept outside for most of his life.  Now that he is in a foster home, he's learning what it's like to be part of a family.  He gets along well with his canine foster brothers and sisters and is very respectful of which ones like to play and which ones like to be left alone.  He is potty trained and keeps his crate clean. We are working with him on some house training items, like settling down in the house, not jumping on people and going into the crate willingly.  There were children in his previous home, but we would recommend a home with older kids, because of his energy level.  We are not sure how he responds to cats.  Kiefer is a fun-loving, high energy, willing to please kind of dog.  He'd love to be a part of an active family that appreciates his energy and includes him in lots of activities.
