Louie is a 7 year old shih tzu.  He was surrendered by his family because they did not have time for him and he was not happy being alone so much.  He is house trained and crate trained.  He loves people of all ages.   He gets along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog or people who are home a lot of the time.  He has ignored the cat in his new foster home.  Louie is a loveable little guy who is looking for a new family to spend the holidays with.  Could it be yours?

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
