Pirate is such a sweetheart. He is so quiet and nice that sometimes I forget he is even here! He's house trained and will wait by the door when he has to go out. He is such a cuddle bug and would be perfectly happy hiding in a big fluffy blanket all day. He loves to be held like a baby and sleep cuddled up in his foster mom's arms or lap. He is however a little apprehensive when it comes to making friends with men. It's possible someone hurt him before he came to us and so he's quicker to warm up to women. We are working on it though and with a little patience he loves everyone :) He will make your home a happier place!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
